Zowie EC2 Gaming Mouse

 

The Zowie EC2 features a nice ergonomic design, however, the finish is not on par with that of similarly priced mice. At a retail price of € 59.99 you would expect the mouse to be seriously well built, but the EC2 has a few severe build related issues...

Driver less design, Three DPI settings, Excellent performing sensor, Ergonomic design, Available in two different surface textures, and sizes!, 1000 Hz USB Polling rate, driver less!

High price, Dodgy scroll wheel - Might be an issue with first revision EC2s, Sensor has a little prediction

Il existe beaucoup de modèles de souris pour gamers et parmi les marques moins connues que Razer, Roccat, SteelSeries ou encore Logitech, il y a quelques pépites comme Zowie Gear et sa EC2-A.

La Zowie Gear EC2-A est une bonne souris à 60 euros. Et, pour se faire une place sur ce segment de prix, il faut en avoir dans le capteur car la concurrence fait rage. Razer, SteelSeries, Asus, Aorus, Roccat ou encore Logitech propose tous des modèles...

Sick mouse

 

I am considering moving to the FK1 but have yet to move away from this mouse. Extremely pleased with this purchase.

Have been using this since 03/2012 and have been through tons of mice ; 3 native DPI settings, no hardware accel on the lens..just a great mouse

The mouse5 (small front thumb button) seems a bit flimsy, a friend of mine with the same mouse had this button break/stop working

So now I'm back to using my ancient Razer Diamondback. Great mouse...hope that you don't need support.

My wife bought this mouse as an early Christmas present about 8 months ago to replace my old MX518 that had finally kicked the bucket and I never did like my Razer Diamondback(which I was using in the mean time). I love the mouse. It feels great,...

At least when it is working. About 2 months ago my cursor started randomly flying in a random direction and then becoming unresponsive. I thought maybe it was drivers and uninstalled and re-installed it, tried it in Linux and Windows on multiple...

Excellent product

 

I have big hands and prefer a small-medium mouse, this allows my palm to remain raised above the mouse where the focus of my control lies in my finger tips. I bought this mouse after having a Razer Deathadder that I wasn't a fan of - that mouse is too...

Medium size, great for those with large hands that prefer to physically dominate a mouse ; Very durable mouse skates - I've never needed to replace them like I've had to with other mice

Died after over a year of use. Like most other mice I've owned, it began to "disconnect" on and off frequently from my computer. Mice simply do this after some time, being the reason I still give this mouse a 5 star rating

Zowie EC2

 

I looked at alot of gaming mice and decided that 8 thumb buttons would never be useable in panic mode. This mouse more than good stuff simply has no bad stuff. If you use a palm grip you just can't go wrong with a EC2 of any color.

Solid feel, great button feel with no jumpy cursor at all. Low lift to recenter the mouse. Very comfortable for a palm grip. This mouse just feels right, not cheap feeling

There was no software to program macros to the thumb buttons. I use them in game for key binds but I'd really have liked to make them attack macros
