Much better than Trendnet 100 and 400 cameras

 

I hate that in an era where a lot of people use Macs, Trendnet still does not provide a software solution. I had to buy a 3rd party software, EVOCAM, so as to record and view camera feed over the Internet. Evocam is excellent for Mac users and cameras....

Works very well in low light as well as normal conditions. Does not need reboot (as suggested in other reviews). Running successfully now for 3-months 24/7. I now have 2 of these cameras recording 24/7 along with a Trendnet 100 and a Trendnet 400

RTSP for 3GPP mobile phone streaming is not working on my cameras, but at less than $100 after rebate I can wait for a firmware update

Overall Good

 

Good quality picture. Low cost for MPEG4 encoding. It works.

The motion detection feature is a little hard to get working. The software that ships with this is different than that which ships with IP100/201/etc series cameras. This software won't work with the other cameras and the other other camera's software...
