This camera has wonderful quality! Bought this because a friend has the same model, works just as good in Linux as it does in Windoze

LED is on whenever the cam is plugged in, not when it is being used. The base is a little awkward but all in all, it works

cheap. My friend said video quality was good over msn

I like it when you can just plug something into a USB port and then search for drivers on the disk. That didn't work, so I had to install all sorts of other stuff off the CD

Built in program is slow and clunky. Video FPS is not 30, more like 5. I got 30 on my old camera from 97', something is wrong there

doesnt need alot of light to operate properly and it sets up very easily. software bundle is also very simple to use

mounting for the camera is a little odd for lcd monitors but it works okay

This is my first ever webcam, and am very satisfied with it. The program that comes with it, is easy to use and isnt a hassle to use. Very user friendly. I can easily take pictures at 1024x768, which is awesome

Make sure you have some decent lighting. If i did a video capture/record, at 640 x 480 resolution, i can only do 15 fPS a second. But i can run it at 352x288 i can run it at 30fps, but still blurs if i make a movement (frames per second)
