Didn't buy it at newegg...but

this camera has problems

 

If they could improve on this camera and software you would have a great surveillance cam in this price range.

The pan and zoom features are very good and fairly fast. Also the mounting is pretty solid

I've tried probably 6 cameras in this price range & still haven't found a good product. This camera has problems with it's auto focus and light level adjusting. It was so bad I thought it was broken but it just took a while to readjust after a reset....

I have had a live webcam site for 10 years, 6000 hits a day, and linked to by all Pacific Northwest news sites and the Weather Service. This is the worst camera I have used and they don't give refunds. It was trouble from the start as the 4XEM active-x...
