Always find new Whirlpools to be very good washing machines.

Noise

This machine has proved to be excellent value for money so far. I find it simple to use and efficient. It is also quite versatile I did not expect to use so many of the programmes. The build quality is very good.

My previous machine had a 'short programme' facility which I miss. Why on earth are such long programmes necessary? Having said that, there are some sub-1 hour programmes, including a handy 30min. cycle.

Range of programmes

Programme labels difficult to read round control. I have drawn my own larger version showing programme details: temperature, weight advised, and time taken

The timer which shows cyle time left, very easy to use and very quiet(compared to my last Whirlpool washing machine which lasted for fifteen years)

No half wash cycle

Clear indicators. Variable spin speeds and temperatures give so many more "programmes"

cycle times not too excessive

Good spin, useful quick wash and easy to use. Have always found Whirlpool very reliable.

Only cold fill makes cycle times longer.

This washing machine is quiet, the clothes come out a lot drier that the last one I have and the spin is a lot higher.

Not many really, if using the same programme you can't just press start again, you have to turn the dial to the same programme again.
