Hotpoint WMFG 821P

This is a brilliant "middle of the road" Hotpoint washing machine. It has all the features I needed - quick wash, stain wash, delay timer for Economy 7, large drum. Really pleased with it.

Good size, easy to use, nice short 30 main cycle for fast washes . if that doesn't drain off enough water from heavy items you can give it an extra 15 min spin. Seems to wash well overall.

The main wash at full load even at 30 degrees is 3 hours which is too long...but then that's why the timer is handy so overall its a fair compromise.

As above - quiet, easy to use and cleans well. Not the flashest one but it does what it is supposed to - it's not supposed to be a piece of art

Great value. Wide door, big loads and nice and quiet.

Cycle times.... as with all new washing machines (thanks to new regulations) take twice if not three times as long. But that's all machines not this one specifically! Waste pipe, stupidly short, buy an extension (£3ish) just in case or the guys can't...

I had an Aquarius by Hotpoint for 15 years before replacing it with this one. If the new one lasts me as long, for the price, I will be very pleased

Good size in drum,quiet,easy to use and many different settings..

The length of the normal cycles, I feel 3 hours is rather long.
