Misfit Flash Link

The Misfit Flash Link is an all-in-one activity tracker and 'smart' button. You can track your steps, monitor your sleep and even take it for a swim, just like you can with the Misfit Shine and Flash. You can also control smartphone features...

Super affordable activity tracking ; Discreet design ; Long battery life

Tracker has fallen off when worn on shorts ; Some smart modes more gimmicky than useful ; Need to sync tracker to switch between different modes is irrirating ; Have to switch between Misfit apps to use activity tracking

The Misfit Flash Link is super-affordable activity tracker but the smart control features leave plenty of room for improvement.

Misfit Flash

Misfit's £50 activity tracker is as feature-packed as the Shine

Improved, more secure design ; Automatic sleep tracking ; Good value for money

Still lacks in-depth data analysis ; Not as good-looking as the Shine

might be a little older now, and doesn’t match the Shine for battery, but it can be bought for around £60 and has an ecosystem that does a much better job of helping you make serious changes to your lifestyle.

Misfit Flash Link review: The cheapest little fitness tracker that doubles as a smart button

Fitness tracker! Selfie remote! And super-affordable. But it's a tiny bit more confusing than it needs to be.

Extremely low-cost; water resistant for swimming or showering; built-in progress meter display; replaceable battery lasts up to six months; has bonus smart-button features

Choosing between fitness tracking and smart button functions involves toggling between two apps; some smart button features don't work as advertised; rudimentary display and single-button operation can get confusing for advanced functions.

Misfit's entry-level fitness tracker gets the job done at a supercheap price, but its 'smart button' functions leave a lot to be desired.

Misfit Flash Link

Thanks to a smart balance of features and price, the $20 Misfit Flash Link is an excellent fitness tracker for first-time users.

Very affordable. Does everything the Misfit Flash can. Fully waterproof. Stylish.

No real display. No wristband. Flash Link app isn't yet available for Android.

Conclusions With the Flash Link, Misfit essentially drops the price of the Flash and adds features to an already solid and affordable tracker. That makes it a pretty easy impulse buy, or a good starting point if you want to see if activity tracking is...

Misfit Flash review

The least flashy fitness tracker you can get

Comfortable ; Affordable ; Durable ; Great battery life

Inaccurate ; Difficult to read ; App could be better ; Lacks features

As wearables continue to become more commonplace, they're continuing to push forward in more spaces, including the fashion industry.

Misfit Flash review: The affordable little waterproof fitness tracker

It counts steps and sleep, can be worn on your wrist or clipped on your belt, and it's cheap: the Misfit Flash is worth its price and then some.

The Misfit Flash is waterproof, lasts six months on a single battery, comes with a wristband and clip-on accessory, works with iOS and Android, and tracks steps and sleep.

Lacks a heart rate monitor; plastic design feels a little cheap; LED readout shows daily progress and blinks hours and minutes, but doesn't show step count.

The Misfit Flash is a versatile, easy-to-use and extremely affordable fitness tracker that can be worn swimming, too, and it even kind of works as a watch.

Misfit Flash

At $49, Misfit Flash is the best entry-level activity tracker you can buy for less than $100. Self-quantification enthusiasts will be disappointed in the lack of features that are part and parcel of more expensive trackers, but first-timers will find a...

Very inexpensive. Improved design. Tracks steps, sleep, distance, activities. Fully waterproof and supports swimming as an activity. Stylish. Includes both wristband and clip holster.

No real display; indicator lights only. Doesn't count stairs or heart rate. Clip and wristband look and feel cheap. No vibration. Can't sync with a computer and no Web app.

Smart AssetsBatteries, it turns out, are a very personal and touchy subject. With the Misfit Flash, you never have to recharge the battery because it's a coin cell, the kind of battery used in traditional watches. And it lasts several months or even...

Misfit Flash review: Good for beginners

The Misfit Flash is an activity tracker and the follow-up to the Misfit Shine which launched back in 2013. The new model follows a similar design cue but swaps metal for plastic and slashes the price by half, making it the cheapest activity tracker out...

Small and subtle, colourful, cheap, app is great, six-month battery life, Spotify integration

Design looks cheap, accuracy not brilliant, device interface frustrating to use, no high-end GPS/heart-rate features

The Misfit Flash is a tricky activity tracker to place, one that we think is best for beginners on a budget. It is cheap, cheerful and small enough to go unnoticed, but on the other side of the coin its accuracy isn't to sniper standards.

Misfit Flash Review

This is the story of how I became a believer in the activity tracking trend sweeping the smart device environment. While I was baffled that anyone would want to exercise in the first place back when products like Jawbone UP , Fitbit , and the Nike...

As activity tracking wearables go, Misfit Flash is just about the simplest of the pack. That doesn’t mean it’s the worst – in fact Misfit creates a highly impressive package here given the relatively low cost of the device itself. When this review is...
