You get what you pay for in this case. Cheap price, cheap speakers, but they do work. Nothing exceptional, but great for a 2nd PC or a spare box that just needs sound. They do crackle when I boot my PC, but that could just be interference... once up...

Like they say, you pretty much get what you paid for. I don't care about surround sound so this is pretty good for what I was looking for. The only down side was there is no headphone jack.

This is an excellent set of speakers. The quality is great for xxxxxx and they do just what they were meant to. My only gripe is that whenever I log onto Windows XP, it makes some weird noises for about a second (no it's not the Windows logon sound...

You pretty much get for what you pay for. Not much bass at all and contrary to whats listed in the specs there are no bass and treble controls

I am very pleased with these speakers and would recommend them. You just can't beat the price and in my opinion they sound pretty darn good. No complaints. And, of course, you get newggs excellent service. I got mine in about 42 hours after I ordered.

Works great if you just need some speakers. Sounds are pretty good. Recommended, you really can't beat it for $9.50.

I bought these for a customer and I tested them, they work great if you just need some speakers. And for music there is this 3d button that makes it sound pretty good. I would recommend these to people who just need a speaker set.
