Kenwood Apps BLX510 1.6L

This is a very efficient blender. It chops and liquidizes very well and very quickly. It is very stylish and easy to use. It was recommmended by Which magazine.

The jug is very heavy. Although the instructions for taking it apart for cleaning are very clear, it is very difficult, and I have to ask for help from someone with strong hands to take the blade out of the bottom of the jug.

Lid not easy to remove

Having only made iced cocktails with it we cant comment on anything else. It breaks up ice fairly easily to make great strawberry daquaris.

Occassionally the large ice gets stuck andyou need to stir it to remove ice from below blades.

The Kenwood KMix blender is fantastically well made with solid components and a very classy feel. Simple to use and a gives excellent results. I have used it for soups, purees and iced drinks and all have blended perfectly.

cool retro looking and simple for all family to use

i dropped the base of the jug in 1st week, and a piece of crucial plastic which is very thin, chipped of, so now the jug leaks dramaticly. My fault for dropping, but i was surprised how it broke compared to the more sturdy old kenwood chefs

This is a great product

It's beautiful to look at and it does the job. Very sturdy and easy to clean.
