it doesnt work the number 8 shows when I have tried to switch it on for the first time and cant find any reference to what the number - 8 - refers to

Came with the plastic housing pulled apart, I had to unscrew it and put it back together. Is very noisy, cannot keep the fan at a low speed.

It is much more silent than our previous air con, thought it is still a sound comparable to an old fridge in a room.

When I started it for the first time there was a banging sound. It turned out that casing was coming off from the unit. I had to adjust it and still sometimes the banging starts due to casing not fitting very well.

Looks nice, and cools the room reasonably.

Not particularly quiet - I had expected quieter for a "silent" model. The filters seem to be not as effective as I had hoped. You can only fit one filter at a time, and it covers a small fraction of the overall inlet, so is pretty much bypassed.

It's black, short in height and relatively small. The vent hose is designed well.

The bright green control sticker should be darker. The louvers do not allow you to aim the airflow up or down they are fixed. The unit is not that quite 62dB. The fan speed makes no difference to airflow. The case of the unit vibrates a lot. IT appear...
