HSDPA capable, ships with two batteries and a second battery charger, bright, wide display, three-way scroll wheel for navigation

Cramped keypad, no Wi-Fi, no included microSD card, no included headphones and no 3.5mm jack, limited multimedia file support, can't edit Office documents, USB 1.1

A solid, if not outstanding entry to the smart phone market, the BlackJack is a mixed bag. It has HSDPA, an excellent display and good email functionality, but the inability to edit documents and the lack of Wi-Fi are sour points.

Samsung BlackJack TBA

Occasionally in this business one comes across a product that is a real stand out and what I am going to expose you to is in my opinion the best smart phone in the world today.

The new Samsung BlackJack is well thought out and very cleverly designed and I am confident that it will be a big hit in Australia, as it has been overseas. For the corporate warrior this is a must have that will not let you down. It is also a phone...

Review: Samsung BlackJack - Cingular Deals Quality Windows Smartphone

While the design is nice overall, a few unpleasant touches keep it from feeling truly stylish. The Blackjack has a full QWERTY keyboard, but we dislike how the number keys were added in. They're gray, as opposed to the black of the other keys, and...

Samsung BlackJack Review

For the two aforementioned features, these are small rubber caps along the sides of the device, which you pry out with a fingernail. These are attached to the casing, so you don't need to worry about losing them, though they might break off with long...

3G wireless broadband ; Ultra-slim design ; Solid construction ; Inexpensive

Lacks WiFi ; Proprietary USB/audio connector ; MicroSD card

It's hard to find too much fault with the BlackJack in either specs or design. While I disagree with the selection of a proprietary port for USB and audio, and the use of MicroSD cards, they're not fatal flaws. It's got a very nice design, and with the...

Samsung BlackJack Review - Smartphone Reviews by Mobile Tech Review

The Motorola Q and T-Mobile Dash aren't the only games in town if you want a sexy, capable and super-slim Windows Mobile Smartphone with a QWERTY keyboard. The Samsung BlackJack SGH-i607 on Cingular is the newest kid on the block, and Cingular's second...

Great looks, great ergonomics (other than the d-pad and immediate surrounding buttons). Super-fast data speeds on 3G and excellent call quality. Louder than many other GSM phones. Very good speakerphone. Good bundled software: useful apps that would...

No headset included, which is particularly bad since the BlackJack requires a proprietary one. The d-pad and flat buttons surrounding it will bother folks who talk and use the phone on the run. Battery life isn't great but the included spare battery...

The Samsung BlackJack i607 simply looks and feels fantastic. The high speed data in 3G coverage areas is wicked fast and voice quality is excellent. The keyboard is excellent, though the number keys are a bit eccentric. We love the jog wheel and most...
