Review: LG enV2

Where to begin? Apparently some folks liked the first enV-nothing wrong with that. Hideous, but comfortable to hold, the handset featured a spacious keyboard, and...

Bluetooth. Vibrant interior screen. External microSD slot. Stereo speakers

VZ Navigator (Pay me!), IMs as SMS (Pay me!), POP email (Pay me!) and the walled garden web “browser” (Pay me!) will jack up that monthly bill. No Wi-fi

LG enV2 review

We'll admit that the LG EnV2 was a bit of a surprise to us when we first heard about it. We had initially thought the LG Voyager was the final successor to the high-end messaging phone line from LG and Verizon Wireless. (As you'll recall, the original...

The LG EnV2 is a slim and attractive handset, with a roomy keypad, bright dual displays, a good multimedia feature set, a full QWERTY keyboard, plus great call quality.

The LG EnV2 does not offer newer features from the first EnV. Also, photo quality was mediocre, and the external display can be a bit too small. Streaming video quality could also be a lot better.

The LG EnV2 is not much more than a slimmed down version of the EnV, but it still serves as an excellent high-end messaging phone.

LG enV2 VX9100

Verizon's LG enV2 can get the whole family into text messaging.

Terrific keypads. Good voice quality. Easy to use.

Text messages aren't threaded. Limited AIM client and Web browser.

LG enV2 Review

The LG enV2 (VX9100) for Verizon Wireless is the newest upgrade of the enV, which was released last year, and is targeted to the consumer who is looking for a small, attractive device while maintaining a full QWERTY keyboard. It has been completely...

LG enV2 Review

A phone for serious text message users, the LG enV2 is a definite upgrade from its larger and less stylish predecessor, the enV. This latest handset offers a full QWERTY keyboard, music player with Bluetooth stereo support, microSD memory card slot and...

If users are into text messaging and emails on the go, then the enV2 should be at the top of their cell phone shopping list. In addition to an ergonomically sound QWERTY keyboard, this well-designed phone provides standard messaging options for the no...

LG enV2

Verizon and LG shrunk the EnV and the results are good. While the original EnV was an innovative but (very) big and expensive high-end phone, the EnV2 is smaller, cheaper, and slots into the middle of VZW's messaging phone lineup. Text addicts who...

Sleeker and smaller than the original EnV. Comfortable QWERTY keyboard and QVGA internal display make texting fun. Huge external keypad makes dialing easy. VCAST music and video support. Support for laptop tethering (phone as modem)

External keypad makes the phone look like a retro calculator, although I suppose that could be seen as a good thing. Space bar is small and oddly placed. Verizon's menu system can be confusing. Limited Bluetooth functionality. Still a little bulky

LG enV2 Cell Phone Review

LG enV2 - Phone Reviews by Mobile Tech Review

LG first released the VX9800 (The V) back in late 2005 and that phone earned a cult-like following and spawned several follow-up devices. The VX9900 (the enV) came a year later and the VX10000 Voyager was released late last year. All devices won users...

Very attractive phone and good quality build. Good reception and voice quality. Support for V CAST and VZ Navigator. New messaging features make it even easier to work with messages and email. Very good battery life ;

The small external display limits tasks without opening the flip. Keyboard is a bit too flat. The camera phone takes grainy indoor photos. No wired headset included for music playback
