I got fifteen of these things playing adult films at a couples arcade and they seem to be doing the job

Well what do you expect for the price? I have to say it did work for me. I tried some DVD-R's with various compression rates and they all played. I can't say I watched them all the way through but what I did try, did work. Picture quality was acceptable

Cheap. They're cranking them out of China by the boatload

Even tho it says it plays DVD-R/RW.....it doesnt so if your looking for something that will play ur dvd-rs..dont get this

its good for the price,but like i said if your planning on playnig dvd-rs i wouldnt recommend.everything else works fine i like some of the features

It looks pretty slick

Even at the extremely low sale price, this dvd player will not play dvd-r. At least ones with compression used. It will recognize them but the movie will skip
