I got this because it was inexpensive and I was having trouble recording TV with my VCR. I knew that buying the least expensive DVD recorder would have its downside, but I figured I'd give it a chance. As I expected, the first glance spawns feelings ...

Easy to use. Cheap.

A very unreliable unit. Instruction manual too brief, with some info left out entirely.
