i'm having issues connecting printer to chromebook, i'm following directions but with no success. please help

Only thing I can print are some pictures. No coupons, no documents, on my iPad. I bought the Canon MG 2940 for its wireless feature. Installation gave me problems as well.

I purchased this printer for my granddaughter and she loves it. An excellent printer at a good price. colors are vibrant and clear. easy to operate I would recommend this printer to anyone.
