My first laminator so I can't compare but I'm very happy with this unit. It's not very fast, it takes like 20-30 seconds for A4 page so it's not for high volume use. I've see ones that are many times as fast, but also cost many times as much and run...

THE ONLY DOWNSIDE TO THIS MACHINE IS LONG WARM UP TIME. OTHER THAN THAT IT HAS PERFORMED TERRIFICALLY. IT GETS A LOT OF USE, TOO.

first use was to protect info sheet for an outside sales display. worked excellent. ran over 50 documents though it (5mil sheets). sealed very well and the documents lasted for the week long show, outside in poor weather conditions.
