It shreds paper

It does nothing but put scratches and holes into a credit card and a CD. It makes the CD unusable but a credit card would be fine after going through the "shredder". If you are buying it to do more than paper look elsewhere

Had the shredder out of the box for a total of 30 minutes before fingers between knives broke due to paper wrapping. Very small window in front of basket doesn't allow you to see when basket gets full, so check early and often or risk breaking it.

Quiet/Shreds paper well

Extremely poor on shredding Credit cards. Only 3 knives in CC slot. Maybe fine for a CD but would not trust a CC only cut into 4 pieces. Poor design caused fingers to break when basket gets full. It really needs an indicator to let you know when the baske...
