I use it to support several systems running VMware and a home built NAS device, and the performance improvement between the virtual machines and the NAS storage makes it very worthwhile at this price.

No issues, a no brainer upgrade - plugged in 1GB capable systems and instantly got a huge speed boost. Great for large data transfers. The included 1GB NIC was also a nice bonus
